New Stockist!
We are so excited to announce an up-and-coming wholesale partnership with one of the largest travel retailers in North America, Hudson Group!
It is a dream of mine to have my designs located in boutique stores in every large city in the world – From London to Paris and Shanghai to Moscow, – Ave Mariabell Designs will be a household name for travellers and globetrotters alike seeking to take a piece of a city they love home. With Hudson Group as a new stockist, – we are one step closer to achieving this dream! You can soon find our minimalist skyline art including our prints, coasters and laptop/wall decals at Billy Bishop in Toronto and also the Vancouver international airport!
As they are a subsidiary of international travel retailer, Dufry AG, Ave Mariabell Designs can potentially create partnerships with their boutique stores in airports all around the world. This might sound brazen, however I really believe if you put your dreams out there to the universe, you just never know who might be paying attention, and what leads you can create from it.

Love Toronto Pop-up
This weekend we are participating in another #LoveTorotoandFriends pop-up show in Kensington, this time during the Sunday Pedestrian Market! I am so excited to join like-minded artists and entrepreneurs – yet again, in an ALL-TORONTO pop-up, showcasing everything you need to represent the city you love.
We will have everything from local gourmet artisan preserves to local Toronto apparel and Toronto art. Meet some of the city’s hustling entrepreneurs this Sunday July 29th, at 156 Augusta Avenue from 10am to 4pm.
West Elm – North Toronto
We love that established boutique brands like West Elm are embracing on the #shoplocal revolution! Since 2013 West Elm has committed to promoting the work of artisans and crafters in the areas where their stores are located. This month on August 11th to 12th (12pm to 5pm) we are jumping on board their pop-up show opportunity and showcasing our work in their North Toronto location at 2434 Yonge Street. Drop by and see how our designs pair nicely with their home décor!
Zuri Curated Events
I always love to connect with like-minded people, especially since starting my art venture. Surrounding yourself with people who have similar entrepreneurial mind-sets is important for all those who want to succeed. That is why I am so excited to be part of the next #GirlBoss event hosted by @ZuriCuratedEvents. At this event, there will be successful business women, influencers and entrepreneurs. They will take the stage and share their stories on how they started their careers, what inspired them, failures, obstacles and why they call themselves #GirlBosses. All those attending will have a chance to shop the #GirlBoss market featuring female entrepreneurs.
Collaborations:
I continually add new cities to my skyline series and in the next few weeks I’ll be releasing the Los Angeles skyline in my minimal graphic style! In collaboration with Los Angeles influencer and blogger, @TinyGrayFox, who will not only provide me insight on the best LA monuments to depict in the skyline, but also photograph my art as part of her beautifully laid out Instagram page – we share the same love for shades of gray with pops of colour!
